Benjamin is currently Chief Executive Officer at eCard Systems, an experienced, market-proven supplier of complete gift card, loyalty and stored-value products, programs and systems.
Before eCard, Benjamin was an investment professional at the private equity firm Coller Capital, where he was responsible for investment analysis, business strategy, and helping manage portfolio companies. Prior to working in private equity, Benjamin worked at Credit Suisse, where he helped manage the private placement process, handling the sales, marketing, and logistics for multi-city roadshows. Prior to Credit Suisse, Benjamin was an investment banker at Peter J. Solomon Company, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on corporate strategy, valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial alternatives.
Benjamin is an active leader and volunteer in the community. Benjamin, working with the organization Streetwise, led a team who mentored low-income individuals with critical job market skills.
Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University, where he graduated with high distinction.
Benjamin was a leader in the Duke and Durham, North Carolina communities. As president of Duke’s Habitat for Humanity, Benjamin was responsible for an inaugural Durham build in which he successfully led over 200 people in a fundraising and building effort for a first-time deserving home owner.
